At The Yarra, we understand that unexpected weather conditions may impact travel plans. To accommodate our guests, we offer the following policy for booking modifications due to inclement weather:
Before Check-In: Guests who need to modify their reservation due to inclement weather may receive a credit note for a future stay, subject to availability and pricing at the time of rebooking.
Early Departure: If guests choose to leave early due to weather conditions, a credit for the unused night(s) may be issued for future use, subject to availability and pricing at the time of rebooking. Refunds will not be provided.
Hotel Closure: In the rare event that The Yarra must close due to extreme weather, guests will receive a full credit note for a future stay.
Third-Party Bookings: Reservations made through third-party platforms are subject to the policies of the booking provider. Guests should contact their booking service directly for modifications.

Early check-ins and late check-outs are not guaranteed. Please contact us to inquire about availability for check-ins before 3 pm or late departures.

Notify us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog.
Dogs must be fully trained and leashed in common areas.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
Barking or disturbances must be controlled to not inconvenience other guests.
Guests are responsible for all property damages and personal injuries caused by their pet.
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Yarra, its owners, and operators from all liability and damage caused by their pet.
The Yarra reserves the right to charge for damages caused by pets.

Unfortunately, there are no taxes or Ubers in the area. We recommend booking a car service like Upstate D Tours or Sullivan County Catskills Car Service.

Noise at The Yarra
The Yarra hosts dinners that typically conclude between 10:30 and 11:00 pm. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise in the upstairs hallway, especially during early mornings or late evenings, to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.

Outside Food & Drink
During tapas hours (3 PM to 8 PM), outside food and drink are not permitted in the inn’s public areas and may only be enjoyed in your room. If you need wine glasses or plates, just let us know—we’re happy to provide them!

Smoking
The Yarra is a non-smoking property.
If evidence of smoking is found during your stay or after your departure, an additional $250.00 will be charged for professional cleaning.

Safety
All rooms contain fire escape maps, fire extinguishers, and escape ladders for emergencies.

Turndown Service & Housekeeping
At The Yarra, turndown service and daily housekeeping are not provided. However, we are happy to supply fresh towels upon request during your stay.

Pack N Play / Fold Away Beds
The Yarra does not provide Pack N Plays or fold away beds.
If bringing your own Pack N Play, book the Blue or White Rooms for safety reasons.

Flexible Rate
- Payment: A credit card is required at the time of booking. The card on file will be automatically charged when the free cancellation period ends.
- Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival (by 11:59 PM local hotel time).
- Late Cancellation: The full room rate will be charged after the cancellation period ends.
- Modifications: If you cancel after the cancellation window has closed, the full amount will be issued as a credit toward a future stay. Credit is valid for 1 year and may be applied exclusively to our Flexible Rate. -
Prepaid Discounted Rate – Non-Refundable
- Payment: A credit card is required at the time of booking. The card on file will be automatically charged when the free cancellation period ends.
- Cancellation: Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking.
- After 24 Hours: Payment becomes non-refundable.
- Exceptions: Cancellations due to illness, death, or significant travel disruptions may be considered with appropriate documentation.
- Modifications: No credit notes will be issued for this rate. One date change is allowed, subject to availability. All other reservation details must remain unchanged. -
Saturday Supper Club Rate: Stay & Dine Experience
The quoted rate includes a 20% discounted room rate, dinner valued at $85 per person, and gratuity.
- Payment: A credit card is required at the time of booking. The card on file will be automatically charged when the free cancellation period ends.
- Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 6 days before arrival (by 11:59 PM local hotel time).
- Late Cancellation: The full room rate will be charged. Dinner charges will be waived if cancelled.
- Modifications: If you cancel after the cancellation window has closed, the full amount will be issued as a credit toward a future stay. Credit is valid for 1 year and may be applied exclusively to our Saturday Supper Club Rate: Stay & Dine Experience. -
"Wade Into Spring" – April Angler’s Retreat
Two-night minimum stay required. A valid fishing license is required for at least one guest on the reservation. After booking, please text a photo of the license to (845) 513-9044. If we don’t receive proof within 48 hours of booking, the rate will automatically be adjusted to our standard rate.
- Payment: A credit card is required at the time of booking. The card on file will be automatically charged when the free cancellation period ends.
- Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 6 days before arrival (by 11:59 PM local hotel time).
- Late Cancellation: The full room rate will be charged.
- Modifications: One date change is permitted (subject to availability); all other reservation details must remain the same.

2. Payment: The full amount of the stay, including taxes and fees, will be processed 48 hours before check-in.
3. Cancellations and Modifications: Changes or cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before check-in. After this period, the reservation is final.
4. No-Shows: In the event of a no-show, the full payment is non-refundable. -
Non-Refundable Rate
1. Booking: A valid credit card is required to book.
2. Payment: The full amount of the stay, including taxes and fees, will be processed 6 days before check-in.
3. Cancellations and Modifications: Changes or cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before check-in. After this period, the reservation is final, and no modifications or refunds will be allowed.
4. No-Shows: In the event of a no-show, the full payment is non-refundable. -
Early Bird Spring Sale
Book your stay by March 31, 2025, for travel between April 1 and June 30, 2025, and enjoy 15% off your room rate. Plus, when you join us for tapas, enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco, white, or red wine.
